Grand Barong Resort Kuta , Kuta (Bali)

My stay at the hotel was quite an adventure, unfortunately not in a good way. While I did appreciate the convenient location near bars and restaurants, my experience was overshadowed by a serious issue involving theft by a hotel staff member. The room was clean and spacious, which was a positive, but the distress caused by the incident and the lack of proper response from management left a bitter taste. I ultimately had to seek refuge at another hotel after the ordeal.

I recently had a short trip to Bali and stayed at the Grand Barong. The hotel is well-located, just a quick walk from the beach and the buzzing nightlife of Kuta. I enjoyed my stay, as the rooms were clean and adequate for my needs, although I wished they were a bit more soundproof. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the pool area was a relaxing spot to unwind. The breakfast was decent, but I think there’s room for improvement in that department. Overall, I found this hotel to be good value for money, even though I might consider a different spot next time for a bit more comfort.
